50th Anniversary Gala

On August 21, 2025, nearly 250 supporters, residents, and team members gathered at Highland Brewing Company for the Givens Communities 50^th Anniversary Gala. The evening was a joyful blend of reflection, gratitude, and vision for the future.

Guests enjoyed moving performances by the Asheville Symphony Chamber Quartet and a lively set from The Dasher Band, alongside inspiring remarks from Kevin Schwab, CEO; Horace Jennings, Board Chair; Teresa Stephens, Vice President of Affordable Communities; and Sabrina Presnell Rockoff of McGuire Wood & Bissette, who spoke to the strength of community partnerships in sustaining our mission.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our presenting sponsors, McGuire Wood & Bissette Law Firm and Blum Construction, and to the talented dining teams from Givens Estates and Givens Highland Farms for crafting a memorable meal.

Together, we raised more than $107,000 for the Givens Grows Fund, providing vital resources to meet urgent needs, support special projects, and extend our outreach.
