Givens Philanthropy Becomes Givens Foundation

One of the most meaningful milestones in this next chapter for Givens Communities is the evolution of our philanthropic work. We are proud to share that Givens Philanthropy has officially been renamed the Givens Foundation—a name that more clearly reflects the vital role philanthropy plays in advancing our mission and expanding our impact across Western North Carolina and the greater Charlotte region.

While the name is new, the heart of the work remains the same. Givens Foundation continues to operate as part of Givens Communities, ensuring that every act of generosity directly strengthens the people, programs, and communities our supporters care deeply about.

A Thoughtful Step Forward

In early 2026, the transition from Givens Philanthropy to Givens Foundation marked an intentional step in how we share the story and impact of giving across the Givens family. The new name offers a clearer expression of who we are and what we do—placing philanthropy front and center as a driving force behind our shared mission.

Importantly, this change does not affect how donations are received or managed. Givens Foundation continues to operate under the same tax ID, maintaining continuity and trust for our donors. Now structured as a subsidiary LLC of Givens Communities, the Foundation is positioned to provide enhanced clarity, strong stewardship, and thoughtful reporting of philanthropic resources for years to come.

Reflecting the Impact of Giving

Philanthropy plays a vital role across Givens—supporting residents, team members, and outreach efforts throughout the region. The transition to “Givens Foundation” helps bring that impact into sharper focus for donors, partners, and the broader community, reinforcing the importance of generosity in everything we do.

As Givens Communities continues to grow and evolve, Givens Foundation will help ensure that generosity remains at the center of what’s possible—strengthening programs, expanding opportunities, and enriching lives across every part of the organization.

We are grateful to our donors, partners, and supporters whose generosity makes this work possible. Together, we look forward to the continued impact of giving—now under a name that reflects both purpose and promise.
